The “limited edition book” Victory of Youth by Riccardo Tisci, Pietrer Hugo and Nike:

For Spring / Summer 2018, Document Journal presents its largest issue to date, featuring six hundred pages, as well as seven limited edition covers by Willy Vanderperre, Olivier Rizzo, Hedi Slimane, Mario Sorrenti, Craig McDean, Grace Coddington, Richard Bush, and Document’s fashion director Sarah Richardson, Édouard Louis by Alasdair McLellan, and exclusive artwork by Lorna Simpson. The issue is also paired with a limited edition book made in collaboration with Riccardo Tisci, Pieter Hugo, and Nike.

Inside, fascinating exchanges between luminaries from the worlds of literature, art, computer science, fashion, activism, music, and television, including cover star Édouard Louis and author Zadie Smith, Black Lives Matter founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors and actor Asia Kate Dillon, legendary photographer and filmmaker William Klein and curator Hans Ulrich Obrist, female computer science pioneers Fereshteh Forough and Barbara Liskov, and an exclusive interview between Kris Van Assche and Yoann Lemoine surrounding Van Assche’s departure from Dior Homme. Not to mention, Luca Guadagnino, Natacha Ramsay-Levi, Alessandro Sartori, and an intimate profile of Luke and Lucie Meier by Anders Christian Madsen.

Also this season, photographer Luke Gilford explores the new American West at the World Gay Rodeo Finals in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and photographer Laurence Ellis searches for modern modes of contemplation around the world. In an exploration of technology’s influence over our well-being, writer Cody Delistraty explores the future of sex in an age of instant gratification, and writer Katherine Cross asks whether artificial intelligence is friend or foe. Legendary magazine editor Leonard Abrams also provides an exclusive first-hand account of his decade long reign at the East Village Eye, the cultural conduit of New York City’s creative scene in the 1980s that cast a spotlight on visionaries such as Cookie Mueller, Glenn O’Brien, and RuPaul.

i Like Adut and Rianne's cover...

I only really like Édouard's cover.

There's a beautiful shot of Rianne featured in this that she posted on her Instagram. Otherwise I don't care for any of it.

Janas cover is the best. Adut looks stupid and this poor horse....

Hannah is giving me major Emma Balfour vibes esp in that close up shot. Yet another riveting editorial from Pearmain.
