Would probably be easier for me to count the things that are not from IKEA in my house!
I love the whole concept! And the simple look of most of the furniture. Adding decorations to already decorated stuff is usaually "too much". And I love decorating!

It's 200 x 236 x 66 cm, fortunately our new apartment is pretty huge. We're not buying the blue sofa yet, there's more important stuff to spend money on (the whole place was basically falling apart )

I'm kinda wanting this Vika desk, but I'm wanting to hear a few reviews, before I make a purchase. I'd have to take a visit to Ikea before I rush into buying it also. Anyone have it and love/hate it? The one thing I'm unsure about is the width of it, for a home office.

the new catalog is out in the US? did anyone download the ikea catalog app? i plan to view it tonight. hope there are a lot of good new items.

has anyone ever purchased the cowhide rugs?

^ Yes it is! I received the catalog about two weeks ago. There are definitely many gorgeous items.

The thing I love about the catalogs are the photos. I use them as inspiration towards my own bedroom's design

lucy is the app worth downloading?

i recently got a few bookcases/shelves from the hemnes collection.
i have the catalog (i think it must be the new one) since i've been to the store a couple times in the last fews weeks.

I haven't purchased a cowhide rug, but they looked cool. A bit thin, but that's to be expected. I didn't inspect too closely.

i downloaded the catalog app for the ipad. took only a few minutes to download. the app has a feature "save for later" that is good for bookmarking.

i didnt see too many new items however.

I must say their policy is really strange - my bf got (Tobo) TV bench and one of the glass sliding doors broke when transporting it. We asked than if there is any possibility that we buy another one separately and were told that's not the option (at least in Ikea where he bought it, I think it's different in UK's Ikea, don'y know for other ones), so he had to order another doors from the local glazier and paid almost half the price of the bench itself.
