I always have a soft spot for seeing expensive leather being worn to the harshest environment by the confident women. My girlfriend has some pricey leather garments, and she doesn't seem to care about them, so she would wear them to the rain and snow without any remorse or consideration. It's just beautiful to see the waterdrops bouncing off the expensive leather.
Luckily, I've found some runway shots and photoshoots that feature these heartbreakingly beautiful scenes.
The famous raining Dior 2019 Cruise, looking at those two beautiful leather skirt suits standing to the rain! Leather protected the models well, and the two models looked more confident than the other ones that didn't wear leather.
Braving the Elements with Constance Jablonski from The Gentlewoman 2012 issue.
Look at that stunning Burberry Prorsum leather trench! Too bad Constance was wearing a vinyl overcoat on top of it to "protect" it. Only the collar got wet. The Burberry trench should have gotten more "challenged!"
And the best part, a €5000 Valentino leather trench coat. Constance looked even more confident in this long, expensive coat. Just pale, cruel and confident towards the expensive leather.
She was carrying an umbrella with the Alexander Wang leather coat! Maybe it wasn't expensive or warm enough to be challenged?

Stormy Leather with Carolyn Murphy, my favorite photoshoot. Probably from a 90's Marie Claire. Calm and joyful in her drenched, expensive leather clothes.

Australian Elle with a Calvin Klein leather trench. The model was leaning on the wall and seemed to scuffed the back of the coat really harshly.

On The Field with a model wearing a seemingly wet Jitrois catsuit in the pool? I cannot find any larger resolution of this picture anywhere.
Basically that's all I could find on the Internet. Please let me know if you have photoshoots or runway pictures like these! Not many photographers are willing to put such exquisite leather to the test.
