Elle UK is just Bzzzzzzzzz and Vogue as well...Since millenieum they are having the most BORING COVERS EVER!!!

Well French Elle is quite good...and UK ELLE was good in 90ies.

I actually find UK Elle quite formative in terms of it's fashion coverage of UK and it caters to people in the mid-range price bracket without being fuddy duddy (like Glamour UK....). But yes, it's editorials and covers are hardly inspiring.....

It isn't the pose that is off to me, it is the way her face is. It is usually pretty, but here she sort of looks like she was neutered and was put on happy pills. You know....if girls could get neutered...

I liked this issue so much that I'm going to buy two copies - there's a decent spread of content, from ads to articles to editorials, though what I like the most are the myriad small 'vintage images' from issues from yesteryear and the pull-out poster of all the covers so far (though they're not listed in date order, which disappointed me). My first UK Elle was.... I think it was Feb 1990, with Yasmeen Ghauri on the cover.
