What to wear to a protest

One of my favorites that I've seen was a t-shirt that looked like the Miller logo, but instead said 'Mueller time.'

I feel that as long as people are looking, they might as well get educated, so I'm a big fan of 'statement' Ts.

I've never been to a protest, so I used to think that you'd want to look as nondescript possible. Most people just wear weather-appropriate gear in the UK. I haven't seen much thematic attire personally.
I get that...
my goal is often to just look as sane and rational as possible so no one can claim that I'm some sort of activist nut job...
^_^

depending on the goal of the rally or march, having a color or theme is really impactful...
remember the pink p*ssy hats for the women's march...
all those pink hats made for some incredible visuals...
no one is going to forget that anytime soon!
and since the goal of any rally or march is usually to bring attention to an important issue, it makes sense to create the most beautiful visuals you can think of in order to get the most widespread attention possible...
