1970's and 1980's Fashion Images / Editorials

Hey guys,

I'm working on a project at the moment, and I'm in desperate need of all kinds of images from the 1970s and 80s of creations by

Comme des Garcons
Zandra Rhodes
Vivienne Westwood
Jean-Charles de Castelbajac
Jean-Paul Gaultier

plus all things in relevance to Glam fashion, Club Kid fashion and theatrical fashion.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have ton´s of old Fashion Magazines from the late 70s and early 80s like Vogue, Harper´s Bazaar and Elle. But I don´t know that much about the Designers???!!!! But I will gladly post some Pictures from the Mags! Let me know if it helps.

Go to the style section and it has pics and info on things in the glam, punk style of the 70's and 80's. Vivienne Westwood has a whole section. There's also a Club Kid section. It pretty much features everybody in that whole underground overly glam style, Boy Geore, Grace Jones, Maripol, Patricia fFeld, clubs, drag queens, magazines, make up artists, old clothing boutiques etc etc etc. Take your time, there's a lot.

I'll look into a hadful of scans from the 60's through the 90's when I have a free moment, it's quite a madhouse today, I'm preparing for friend and designer Sherri Gallagher's show in London, Ontario on the 18th and she forwarded me her photo shoot from the closed IMAX theater they had permission to shoot in the other day...

I have a couple of books I could scan that detail a brief history of fashion, of couse Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne are featured as well as others...

I've been here about one year, and I'm only warming up at The Fashion Spot since it's the winter studio season...! It's quite chilly in the north and north eastern U.S. these coming months and most of the time is either on the yoga mat or studio indoors...

I'm a writer and primarily a reader here, though I've been invited to contribute to a Lanvin manuscript a young author is writing in Paris, he's Mathieu if he happens to be around The Spot!

He had a photo with Gemma backstage in Paris and it definitely caught my attention, we had a conversation and the rest is history...

It was MySpace, though I'm definitely happy to be here and everyone was kind enough to provide me with invites, aside from the nine posts in one year, though there will be many many more to come and follow...

Reminds me of the photos in the coming weeks, I'm new to The Spot in many ways and feeling my way around, though a reader, I'm learning the cultural and conversation ettiquete here and you can tell I'm a bit of a wordy writer...

I do have a down hard drive and some of the photos I'd love to provide are there, though if anyones interested in the 60's I recommend Mini Mad Mod, it's a 60's supermodel I began speaking with on MySpace a while ago, though she's also on Yahoo as well...!
