Miley's skirt is far too short, she does look quite trashy (despite having amazing legs IMHO) but honestly, it doesn't offend, I just think it looks a bit desperate and she shouldn't feel she needs to dress like that.

The pole dancing thing is pretty inappropriate though, although being famous from a young age she probably has very little understanding of what's too much for a 16 year-old.

In terms of style vs expectation, Britney wins the night for me. She looks great for someone who generally doesn't have great style, and looks very healthy. It's the best I've seen her look for ages.

i agree with your entire statement. i suppose they "feign shock" because they do not like, say, miley cyrus in the 1st place. i do not like her too but i'm not at all shocked. considering what pop culture has for us all around.
and with regards to the style, indeed, it has been impressive. i leighton's!

Leighton and Cameron were best dressed at this event, in my opinion.
Miley is just a hot mess. I bet she'll be the next Lohan in terms of partying in two years. I saw pics of her little sister on ontd - and oh my! Do the parents not care that their daughters look this trashy?

Kim K looks really tacky, that dress isn't the most flattering and that hair color is just atrocious. She looked much better with black/dark brown hair. But her sister (the one in the black dress) is gorgeous! She's the one that signed on with a modeling agency right?

I Leighton and Emma Roberts outfits and as for Miley i don't think shes dressed any different from alot of normal 16 year old girls in the summertime(shorts skirts, short shorts), i've seen worse. But yeah the poledancing seems totally wrong.
Oh and Megan Fox looks gorgeous.

I love Alexis too, but I think the dress was a tad bit large on her. It was a nice dress, but the fit didn't seem right.
As for Megan, I think her dress looked a lot like the one she wore to the MTV Movie Awards.

Plus I don't really mind the shortness of Cyrus's skirt its just the way she styled everything is like if her hair was up,minimal accessories and the choice of not wearing a sequined skirt would've have been fine with me but then again its Miley Cyrus....
