An arts-and-craftsy, underground vibe was the common element among designers at the 4xF show, in which each of the four featured designers had something to offer, whether it was Donald Fitzgerald’s sculptural gray suit, Hasan Foster’s holster vests for Fahrd Fosté, Ari Harris’ beaded raffia dress for MonAri 1962, or the best look in the show — Magalis Garcia’s earthy, hand-dyed chiffon dress with a burlap and twig clutch. (There was one spectacular miss, however, in a floor-length peacock feature skirt with an all-too-plain jersey peasant top.)

the color palette is the worst part of this collection.
I can't imagine how the designer can pick out all the most tackiest and unflattering colors into a collection.
