A.P.C. S/S 08 Paris

The spring collection is up on their website now. Usual APC style with the men's selection and some items brought back from the past I believe. The shapes and cuts of some of the coats/jackets are the same as from the past but the colours and patterns are different from what I can see. Lot's of derbies for men and the same usual denim is available.

softgrey, i'm afraid i have to agree with you. the past two collections have not impressed me as much as others have. however, there are some cute pieces in this collection. a couple of my favorites are the gingham dress and the overall dress. i also love the leopard pouch.

also, some of you may remember that i scanned last season's look book for you guys. i have the new season's look book and will post scans asap!

i adore the outfit with the trench and short overall dress.
the colors are dreamy--

lots of silhouettes look the same, like the ruffles on a shapeless sack dress.
i was hoping they would make another version of the sack dress from a few seasons ago, but no.

the styling and the denim seems pretty 70s-ish.
all in all, i love this collection. feels light and fresh.

I think this is an improvement from the last season..
I can see several pieces that I'd at least like to try on.
The striped longsleeve is perfect for A.P.C. and so are the dresses..
I'm mostly disappointed with the shoes but other than that, I like it quite a lot.. very 70's french riviera-ish...

There are a couple of cute jackets but nothing..."special". I don't know, I used to feel that APC did basics with that little something extra but the last collection (and now this one) have left me feeling like something is lacking.

Maybe if I saw the clothes on a different model...this one is definitely not selling them (for me at least).

And, what's with the Sprouse-for-LV-ish leopard print?

I LOVE IT ALL. It seriously hits my taste perfectly .. the colours and cuts .. also I bought moccassins this fall so I have plenty new combination ideas. And it's definitely an improvement from the winter collection.
