I don't think she was working for Harper's Bazaar quite yet. I was looking at a masthead and I don't see her listed. I'll keep my eyes peeled and point out when Anna makes her grand entrance.

Anna Wintour became a junior fashion editor at Harper's Bazaar in New York City in 1975.
Wintour's innovative shoots led editor Tony Mazzola to fire her after nine months.

She became Creative Director of Condé Nast in 1983, and Editor in Chief of British Vogue when Bea Miller resigned in 1985.
She was there for two years wanted it to be less eccentric and more mainstream like US Vogue so she made many changes and fired a lot of staff. Her nickname was ‘Nuclear Wintour’.

After two years she was moved back to New York in 1987 to be Editor of House & Garden. Again she made sweeping changes and the magazine lost a lot of subscribers. Ten months later she took over US Vogue because it was losing readers to US Elle, and has been there since.
She is not fit to run a magazine. Her and others have destroyed a fashion magazine..
