^it's true. liz made bazaar inspiring. she made something you could look forward to and be excited to see every month.
glenda bailey has ruined that magazine. it's sad that she's managed to turn what was once the only magazine that could stand alongside vogue(even eclipse what they did,imo)into marie claire with a different title.
i never understood their decision on glenda bailey then and i still don't get it. she's horrendous. they criticised kate betts so much for trying make bazaar a little more forward with more attention on innovative talents yet they hire this woman and she's turned into something that i can only equate to rubbish. kate was doing a fine job and suddenly after two years they ripped the rug from beneath her.
kate paid special attention to what was going on beyond the stuffy establishment. paying close attention to miguel adrover,hussein chalayan,V&R,bruce,cianciolo,branquinho,a.f. vandevorst,balenciaga,preen....all labels that were really buzzing at that time and weren't getting as much attention elsewhere.
