Abbey Lee Kershaw

Wish she would stop with that pastel hair...it looks ridiculous on anyone over the age of 16...

Agree. It's not attractive. And neither is that first photo from Abby's diary ↓↓, which seems to pretty much sum up her attitude these days.:(

She has so many fans in the fashion world its a shame to shut those doors. Fashion and film/tv have a very close relationship. Its not a good idea to alienate one from the other. She is very likely to run into the same photographers, designers, stylists that she is turning her back on at parties/premieres/red carpets/events. Seems a silly route to take. To each their own. ps. hanging out with Terry Richardson doesnt count. :(

Although it's not a good idea for this kind of pastel hair, it's seems like she was in an mermaid theme movie. Maybe it's better to be a mermaid with this hair. And I think she can handle it.
She is still one of my favorite models.

^ Such a beautiful girl but she never looks happy anymore or has even a hint of a smile in any of her public appearances. Thought that pursuing her acting ambitions would have cleared up her modeling blues? Can you imagine what would have happened if that Sacramento news crew who threw Cara under the bus in that morning interview, for her perceived ingratitude, had to interview Abbey instead? :ermm:

We'd remember what the seven-second taped delay was for.:P:(

 Dying imaging that, so true!

I personally don't even care if she comes back to modeling, as I can't get over how generic she looks these days, so boring. The Abbey Lee I fell in love with was an unaffected, genuinely quirky, nonstandard beauty. She became more and more inauthentic as her star was rising (many of us commented on it before the acting career started), it's a shame.

how chic would she have looked in that outfit if she still rocked the light brown bob from back in the day? that was my favourite look for her, the blonde just washes her out

People are so hard on Abbey, it makes me sad. :(
Like, just because you don't enjoy modeling and the alienation that seemed to come with it ((for Abbey)) doesn't mean that she should simply suppress how she feels because that world no longer owes her anything? freeing her to certain personal expressions like dying hair and whatehaveyou. She was a great model, and when she does occasional work it's still great; she embodies whatever brand or character needed, much like acting, but it sounds like she wants that element more in her control+imagination -- it won't be the same modelling stuff we're used to seeing so naturally it appears a little flat SOMETIMES ---- but again, she's not doing full on artsy editorials or anything these days. My favourite model personally - and while we all have our flaws, I'm glad she speaks up on the negative side of the industry, because let's face it, there is one.

---- also I'm so glad she's acting, since her ability to get into character has always been interesting ^_^
