My mag store is finally stocking this & I just got issue #5. This is one of the most brilliant magazines I have ever seen but it is especially a wonderful read. I'm in love. The theme of issue #5 is Elegance & the Guest Editor is Lars Nilsson. The contributors are: Albert Cocker, Anja Stang, Geir Haraldseth, Hans Feurer, Jacob Brown, Jenny Vågan, Jean-Louis Blondeau, Jonas Raam, Johanna Agerman, Joanna von Mulder, Katerina Jebb, Mats Gustafson, Paul Wetherell, Peter Schlesinger, Peter McNeil & Sarah Moon. The interviews...to name a few...are with Jarvis Cocker & Camille Bidault-Wallington, Manolo Blahnik, Sabisha, Lesage & Alber Elbaz (honestly I cried when I read his interview...it was wonderful!)

Me got this issue a few months ago..I cried as well. I will scan this for everybody someday!

IMO #13 is the best issue they've done so far. The Lillian Bassman images/interview is amazing... plus there is a separate booklet: Bassman/Himmel. The Roversi images are so incredibly beautiful. I've seen a few of them online but not the entire set. A brilliant interview with him as well.

I'm really happy I finally got this. So much to read and look at. 256 pages and perfect bound this time.

I remember that the magazine was for free during the first five issues and I managed to pick up three issues due to the great format and interesting cover images. However I first realized how amazing the magazine was once I started exploring the content. It's lke a luxurious library of cultural and fashion art.

^Me neither, it's so much better than most of the magazines that have.

acne paper is truly the cerebral person's fashion bible. it is what mags like purple and o32c used to be,imo. and with the current state of a flurry of indie fashion magazines selling themselves out it's nice to see things like acne remain so pure in their respective context.

Acne Paper Winter 2012 "Manhattan": Mikhail Baryshnikov, Fran Lebowitz and Richard Serra by Brigitte Lacombe

I'm wondering what contents they'll bring with such a generic (in the sense that it could include everything) theme. But I'm excited about it, and i love Serra's and Baryshnikov's covers. I doubt they'll be able to top their latest issue though, which is probably their best to date (imo)
