Adam Brody

He's such a cutie.

It's a shame that he's not followed that much anymore, or that nobody writes about him anymore for that matter.

Anyone know what he's been up to? The last thing I knew of was JENNIFER'S BODY.. and that was quite a couple months ago.

^ isn't he in production with Justice League? other than that i don't know what he's up to. too bad we don't see much of him anymore.

Adam is probably on vacation.

Things that Happened on a Thursday

Today was a great day in the history of Thursdays, and as a matter of fact, in the history of most other days of the week. Except perhaps for Saturdays. Saturdays historically have been great days. No matter- for today was one of the best days I have had in California thus far. (They only seem to get better, don't they?)

Today began late, as I clambered out of bed around 8 am in search of something to eat. I chose oatmeal. It was delicious and rich with fiber. After contemplating the weather, the Montauk Monster, the current state of Paris Hilton's shoe collection, and listening to one too many '80s songs on my computer, I rolled down the windows of my Kia Rio and headed North on the 405 towards Studio City.

Activities began early. I took notes for one of my bosses and another producer as they talked about a script whose nature I cannot reveal. It's a great script though. Hilarious. After a very filling lunch at Carla's Café, (yes Carla, today I am paying with a credit card. Just like every other day), I started working on coverage on the front porch of Bungalow 10.

So I know this all sounds very boring. I am purposefully making it mundane in order to accurately portray the utter amazement I felt when Adam Brody of O.C fame strolled by our humble abode. I signaled to Adam (as he had a meeting with one of my bosses), and offered him water. He hung out for about a half an hour with the interns/assistants as neither of the producers were there yet to speak with him. Let me say this: Adam Brody is one chill dude. He's funny, cute, down to earth... basically, I want to be friends. Or like, more than friends.

But the fun didn't stop there, kids! Greek was setting up to film a night scene and they brought in horses and bunnies, a carriage covered in flowers, and what looked like the beginnings of a new bungalow. The bunnies were probably my favorite. I have a soft spot for white rabbits.

Later, we had our intern pitchfest, which went over fairly well. I actually managed to successfully pitch a story. Given, it was a non-fiction story and therefore, not really my story to tell. But hey, this is Hollywood. I'll tell anyone else's goddamned story if I feel like it.

I met Kelley for dinner in Westwood- and felt a bit bad because I was so tired from the day that I could barely carry on a coherent conversation. I would like to add, though, that Kelley very nicely paid for my dinner. My last week in LA has begun, and thus far, it's been delightful. Keep it coming, Los Angeles!
Meg's in LA: Things that Happened on a Thursday
One time, when The OC had just barely hit the airwaves but wasn't a hit yet, I stood in line next to Adam Brody at Buzz Coffee on Sunset. He was tall, super cute, and really down to Earth. It almost made me want to watch his show. I resisted.

I did, however, just watch In the Land of Women, and highly recommend it.

August 19

ON this day in history, August 19...

...And Calvin Klein proved he was a fan of The OC in 2003, sending its boy stars Benjamin McKenzie and Adam Brody boxfuls of his famous white briefs.

Former O.C. star Adam Brody throws on his Ray-Ban Wayfarer shades and runs errands in West Hollywood on Tuesday afternoon.
According to The Vegas Eye, Adam helped Josh Schwartz (creator of The O.C., Gossip Girl and Chuck) celebrate his bachelor party. Bret Harrison of The CW’s The Reaper was also in attendance. (Adam, 28, and Bret, 26, play drums and guitar, respectively, for the indie rock band Big Japan.)
If you’ve never watched The O.C., you can catch up with full streaming episodes on TheWB.com.

Aw, that's cute about Josh Schwarts' bachelor party. I just read on Just Jared that Rachel Bilson is gonna be the maid of honor.
