Lucas, Brody warm up 'Death'

TORONTO -- Josh Lucas and Adam Brody have boarded "Death in Love," a drama Boaz Yakin is directing from his own script. Yakin also is producing with Joseph Zolfo.

Jacqueline Bisset and Lukas Haas already have been cast.

"Death" follows a pair of story lines that revolve around two brothers (Lucas and Haas). While Haas' character must deal with his mother (Bisset), his brother is lost in life until he is befriended by a scam artist (Brody).

Shooting is under way in New York.

Zolfo was a unit production manager for "A Girl in the Park," now selling in Toronto, as well as an assistant location manager for "Beloved."



The CAA-repped Yakin directed "Remember the Titans" and was a producer on "Hostel."

Brody, one of the stars of "The O.C," has been seen on the big screen in "In the Land of Women" and "Thank You for Smoking." He is repped by Endeavor and Raw Talent.

Lucas, whose most recent credits include "Glory Road" and "Poseidon," is repped by CAA, Anonymous Content and Hirsch Wallerstein.​

Adam Brody departs LAX airport en route to New York City last week to shoot his new film.
The former O.C. star and Josh Lucas have signed onto the Boaz Yakin-directed drama Death in Love, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Death in Love follows a pair of story lines that revolve around two brothers (Lucas and Lukas Haas). While Haas‘ character must deal with his mother (Angela Bisset), his brother is lost in life until he is befriended by a scam artist (Brody).

Adam Brody Is Pretty Predictable

Adam Brody looked absolutely typically Seth Cohen in his flannel shirt, jeans and Wayfarers out around West Hollywood yesterday. He is working again - this time on an indie film, Death of Love alongside Josh Lucas - but he's definitely still got a lot of time to hang around LA. I had my very own Adam celebrity sighting this weekend in Hollywood. He looked, well, pretty much just like this, only wearing a hoodie because the weather in LA was terrible on Friday night. Thankfully, I somehow managed not to yell something along the lines of "Seth & Summer 4-Eva" at him. Heh.

Adam Brody runs “errands” in West Hollywood on Monday. The former O.C. actor must be working on his music as he was spotted at the same building with his Big Japan bandmate Bret Harrison back in June. Brody plays the drums for the band.
Little known fact: Adam has has twin (fraternal) younger brothers, Matt and Sean.
