^great now everyone and their moms will run out and buy them.. sigh. like someone said earlier.. clones.

Still debating whether to get them or not but it's just not possible for someone being from overseas as none of the online stores that carry them is willing to ship to Europe. I guess by the time I get to NYC (Sept. 16th) they'll be sold out.
They are selling for $500 on ebay. People are obviously willing to pay much more than what they retail for.

PinkPrincess, I agree. I mean almost every fashion blogger has a pair already.

hammies mommy, idk of any knock offs for those yet but i would love a pair! i did stumble upon a pair of nine west that slightly remind me of those e&j's

Akirachicago.com ships internationally if you send them an e-mail. I sent them an e-mail a week ago and the boots are on their way to me as we speak B)
Footnotesonline.com and jildoreshoes.com also ship everywhere (but the shipping cost is almost half the shoe-price).

My Sam Edelman booties just came on the door. Heaven! I can't understand those who say they are very uncomfortable to walk in, to me they are very comfy and easy to walk in (easier than the avarage 5 inch heel I would say). Quality-wise 349$ is a bit much cause they are certainly not perfect, but if you really love the design I would say go for it.
I've seen pictures of them where the toe is soo long, but I guess they're using bigger sizes than size 6 in the ad's, cause the front on my boots are quite short, which I like.

Do you have photos?

And are the SE's true to size.
I'm a half size and I don't know whether to get the 6 or the 7. Do you know the approx length of the shoe?

I'll post pictures later today :) They are true to size. I would get a 7 if you are between 6 and 7, and just put an insole in it if it's too big for you. You don't want them to squeeze your toes. Do you want me to measure the inside of them?

I think this was posted before

but I feel like someone made a knock off of these Stella McCartney Wooden Platform boots.

oh wow...Tony Bianco's version of A.Wangs are TOTALLY spot on! so much so that it's a little sketchy... are we sure that he didn't just steal pics of A.Wangs and photoshop his name onto them, a la Steve Madden?

also, pinkprincess, i'm pretty sure Zara did a very similar version of those 'witch boots' :)

I think the A.Wangs are honestly nothing special in terms of construction. The heel, arch and platform shape are pretty generic and therefore it's really easy to do a perfect copy. (Louboutins, for instance, seem simple enough to copy but very few times are they successfully replicated, especially due to the distinctive shape/position of the heel, shape of arch, platform, toe, etc... )

^unsure, but best best act quickly as lindsay lohan was photographed wearing the jeffrey campbell knockoffs yesterday.

davidz.com has a lot in almost every size... i hate to give this site away since it has tons of treasures in lots of sizes but anything for a TFSer :)

here's the link to the JC shoes

Here are the Sam Edelman booties:

Didn't want to post too many photos in this thread, but there is more to see here.

YSL Tribute spin-offs (Obi, Stud etc)

The YSL Tribute is possibly my favourite shoe design of all time, either in sandal form or as the pump. There are a lot of spin-offs too with the same platform and heel as the original Tribute but different style uppers.

YSL class these as seperate styles from the original Tributes, so I thought they were worth their own thread.

I know a bit about some styles and nothing about others, so maybe members could fill in some of the gaps in my knowledge :flower:

YSL Obi

I bought these in the Matches sale recently. Only seen these in black - not sure if they're available yet in other colours?

YSL Stud

These have been pretty popular recently and I've seen them available in purple, fuscia, navy and black I think.

Other styles

Not sure of the style name of these suede Trib-spinoffs with stacked wood heels?

And Eva Longoria has been showing off these which look like a Stud-spinoff?! Does anyone know the style name of these as I can't find them on YSL or anywhere online? I particularly love them in tan.

Sorry that's quite a nerdy post :innocent:
