THE BFC NOMINEES, 2007

LUELLA BARTLEY is to get a second shot at the Designer of the Year title - the British Fashion Council has announced the nominees for the 2007 British Fashion Awards, sponsored by Swarovski, this morning and Bartley - who lost out to Giles Deacon last year - faces further stiff competition from fellow nominees Anya Hindmarch and Stella McCartney. New Designer of the Year will be hotly contended by Christopher Kane, Gareth Pugh and Marios Schwab; Agyness Deyn, Lily Cole and Irina are going head-to-head for Model of the Year; last year's Designer of the Year Giles Deacon is up against Marchesa and Stella for Red Carpet Designer of the Year; and fashion legend Isabella Blow will be honoured by this year's Fashion Creator of the Year Award - Mert & Marcus, Michael Howells and Terry Jones are up for the prize this year - being renamed in her honour. The winners for all ten catagories - compiled by the BFC's Press Committee chaired by British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman - will be announced at a fashion-star-studded ceremony at the Lawrence Hall in Westminster on November 27. "The Awards give recognition to some of the most influential people at the apex of a vast commercial industry and highlight the wealth of talent that originates from our country and our colleges," comments BFC chief executive Hilary Riva. Very well deserved nomination if you ask me. I'm trying my best not to let my adoration for Agy make me sound biased when I say that she is an amazing model.:innocent:

^I agree! She should win over Lily Cole and Irina (Lazareanu, I assume?) because she has done some major campaigns & editorials this year. :buzz:

She really is, she is definitely the girl of the moment but that isn't saying that Irina and Lily aren't good-just Agyness has more editorials, more campaigns, more covers.

is it me or ever since she died her hair black people don't write as much as before?

i think its just that fashion week is over now and everything's a bit more quiet

awww i love all her outfits...except for the third one...thanks for sharing! :flower:

she has great personal style ^_^

ive said it before because that pic has been posted already, but that dress is just UGLY!

She's more of a model. She's just kind of acting like a celeb lately. I must admit I'm losing interest in her.
