AGYNESS DEYN's newest contract is Gold - quite literally. The Mancunian Model of the Year has this afternoon been unveiled as the face of good friend Giles Deacon's instant sell-out line, Gold, for high street retailer New Look. Usurping Drew Barrymore, who modelled the range's first three collections, Deyn was photographed in London last week for the fourth instalment of the collaboration, which is due in store on March 19. "We had to find a face that was a little bit quirky, ultimately stylish and totally modern to fit the range," a spokesperson for New Look tells DRAPERSONLINE.COM. "Agyness perfectly encapsulates New Look's fun and fashionability." That's not to say the uber-model will be going high street all the way from now on; only yesterday she was spotted buying a handbag in Chanel's Bond Street boutique. (January 18 2008, PM)
