Why Agyness is covering up


For once, there was a genuine excuse for a supermodel to wear sunglasses at an indoor party at night.
Agyness Deyn — model of the year and the face of Burberry and Giorgio Armani — is suffering from conjunctivitis and has had to pull out of many of the catwalk shows she was due to star in during London Fashion Week.
Sporting her trademark peroxide-blonde hair, Lancashire-born Agyness, 24, covered up the infection with pink-rimmed sunglasses at The Buckler store launch party in East London.
Happily, Agyness was putting on a brave face and told me she would still take to the catwalk this week for her designer chums Henry Holland and Giles Deacon.
"I'm not that upset," she said. "What will be, will be." A spokesman for her agency Models 1 adds: "She has had a touch of conjunctivitis, but that is between her and her eye doctor."

*even if you're just near someone with pink eye it is a risk to catch it. anyone with pinkeye must stay home to avoid being contagious to others. why do you think when we were little ,if a student contracted pinkeye, they are immediately sent home and get checked up. it's like you're quarantined.

... and Aggy has been all over the place being a socialoutcast butterfly that she is. tsk. tsk.

^^ I think if you have a covering for your eye (like a purple and green plaid eye patch ) you should be fine being around others. I used to get pink eye constantly as a kid and it's sooo icky

that's the thing, was she using an eyepatch all throughout London fashion week? from some pictures she wasn't. but i'm not sure if that was before or during her pinkeye episode.
