Okay, I am going to respectfully stop posting in this thread now.

I still love Agy as a model but since I keep coming out with negative things about her fame etc. I'm going to respect everyone else and just keep my mouth shut.

I'm very sorry if I've upset anyone with anything I've said over the last little while, which I'm getting the impression I have.

^^ Yes! I don't expect model threads to be a never-ending stream of "OMG, I love you!" We all have our moments when a model looks or says something that doesn't reach our high standards . And I haven't followed Agyness' career from the beginning...but it seems as if some posters don't like fundamental aspects of Agy's personality or image which doesn't translate into occasional negative critiques but a continuous stream of "I don't like, I don't like, I don't like" and I may be wrong (I'm new!) but I saw the threads in this forum as a support base for my fave models . (Especially as a kind of refuge for fans of models who get a lot of hate everywhere else on the boards like Agyness and Chanel Iman.)

Totally agree. Occasional comments are cool, but not constant negativity. It does suck because I read constantly about how people hate Agyness, she's ugly blah blah blah but usually tFS threads are the one place you get together with people who like the model and have positive, fun commentary. If I want snark, I can get it from tons of sites.

Thank you, I'm going to post now and then ( not so much probably) but basically only when I have good things to say because, as much as I think everyone should express their opinion, it's obviously upsetting others and that's not what I want at all!

thats not the purpose though...sorry but if someone looks bad, u meant to say it..and not just when the person looks good...
there are too many thread on tFS where people only and constantly praise models/celebs and when u say one bad word they bombard u...thats not the purpose...and nobody asks me if im upset when everyone says 'but FAIRY dont u see she looks GREAT' or when im the only one dare to speak her mind... sorry thats a lame excuse...nobody should be upset over someone they have never met or theyre not friends with

I agree with you fairy, but, honestly, I'm actually kinda getting sick of hearing my own voice on this thread anyway because I basically have nothing new or nice to say about Agy 80% of the time. The fact that I'm also upsetting others has just made me think there's really little reason I should keep posting there.

I don't wanna be letting you down or something and I wouldn't be doing this usually, but I'm starting to feel I've said enough on her for now anyway. Maybe when it comes to fashion week and Agy starts rocking the shows I'll start on the thread more seriously again.

but i just think...Aggy caused so much talk, so much controversy, whether its on the streets, in the magazines..i think thats good in a way cos there arent many models/celebs who had this effect...
this is part of Agyness Deyn...and why shouldnt we in this thread be part of this controversy??
yes u could go to the 'Model's whose appeal u dont get' or whatever its called thread...but why shift the discussion when its part of what Aggy the ICON is??

^ I totally agree with you ( especially on the " I'll do it myself" part ), but if people came into the Stam thread ( for example) and totally changed the environment into a negative one I'd be really upset and pissed off too! LoL! I'm just trying to be sympathetic!!

As I said, I'm not 100% going to stop posting like I originally said I would because I've talked with some of the people I thought I was upsetting since then and I don't think a total 100% abstinence from the thread is really needed

I'm just gonna keep my negative moans about Agy's fame, "icon status" etc. to myself since I've definitely already said my bit on all that

i dont think this thread has a negative environment at all...there are pics posted, updates posted, videos posted...
it changes into a negative environment as soon as people complaining about how 'negative' ppl are here...when its just different opinions..
