graziadaily.co.ukSo, you’re going through your awkward, teenage phase – discovering how to dress and how to talk to boys even when you’ve got braces – and then your sister hits the big time as, er, a supermodel. It’d be enough to land you with a serious inferiority complex, surely? Not, it seems, if you’re Agyness’s younger sister Emily Deyn – herself an uber-cool artist, whose range of T-shirts featuring Polaroids of her sister hits Uniqlo this Friday 30 April 2010.
Emily designed her first T-shirt with best mate Aliyah Hussain last year – a tee featuring the Queen, spawned by nostalgia and patriotism when Emily was interning in New York. When Aggy wore it backstage at the Anna Sui show (Emily had given it to her as a birthday present), the design received international acclaim - even the designer’s kids wanted one. It led to worldwide attention for Emily and Alia’s designs, and another range of tees and vests for the charity MAG (Mines Advisory Group). So when Uniqlo approached Agyness about designing a T-shirt collection, it made sense the supermodel recommended her little sister for the job.
The result is a range of tanks and t-shirts featuring pictures taken by Aggy and Emily of their favourite activities in New York. They’re the type of items you can easily see festival goers throwing over micro denim shorts or leather trousers for an effortless look. Oh, just like the Deyn sisters would themselves! Check out tomorrow’s issue of Grazia for an exclusive look at the range and Emily’s thoughts on style and growing up with a supermodel sister.
Looking at this photo I miss her old haircut. Still not too fond of her shaved hair.graziadaily.co.uk

As you will see when you buy the noooo issue of Grazia (out today, folks!), we have been hanging out in NYC with BFFs and C4 Frock Me screenmates Alexa Chung and Henry Holland.
We set them to work to prove their fashion credentials, Style Hunter-ing the streets of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. You’ll have to buy ze mag to find out what they thought of the various hipsters they stumbled across, but we also thought, while we had their attention, we’d also find out what they thought of their fellow A-list fashion icons on both sides of the Atlantic.

AGYNESS DEYN
Henry: “My favourite thing is to look through her wardrobe.”
Alexa: “She doesn’t have that much.”
Henry: “She has a storage thing.”
Alexa: “I thought she was doing really well – but she’s got storage? A hangar!”
Henry: “Yesterday she was saying she really wanted us to go through her wardrobe – we used to play ‘yay or nay’ when we were 17. She’d go to Kilburn Car Boot every Saturday and come back with like, 57 cardigans.
I’d be like, ‘you don’t need them’.
So she’d be like [mimes holding something up, grinning] ‘Yay?’
And I’d be like [comedy disapproving face] ‘Nay.’”
