Aggy is lending her vocals to Who, a track by New York-based band Five O'Clock Heroes, which will be released on June 23 - and, naturally, she has a starring role in the video too.
Lowe, meanwhile, has been making beautiful music with her ultra-hip producer beau Mark Ronson in the recording studio.
"Daisy's done a recording, but she's not happy with it," the model's mum, Pearl Lowe, revealed to thelondonpaper. "She's so talented and has had offers for record deals, although she wants to focus on modelling. Mark is so busy recording four albums so a collaboration must wait." (April 30 2008, AM)

I don't know what to think. I really like Aggy and I would really like to hear her singing but at the same time that reminds me so much of Moss...Maybe only because the media and everything call her the next Kate...
its just annoying...like the hype isnt big enough 
she clearly enjoys it
no matter if its singing actress, acting singer, acting model, singing model...its all annoying! its like they all wanna prove that they can do 'more' than just THAT...boring!

You do realize it's probably one of the most demanding jobs in the fashion industry, right?
Well, maybe that's not true but it's not a " just" kinda job!
Personally, I don't think there's anything actually wrong with pursuing other things but, come on, lets admit it's cheesy and it's annoying!
I don't like it when actresses try and be singers, I don't like it when models try and be actresses, when actresses try and be models, and I don't like it when models try and sing either.
They can do whatever they want, but I'm just not comfortable with it for some reason! Sorry!
If she's actually talented I'll maybe change my tune, but I dunno...

Imo Moss has not actually lived her own hype which is why she's lasted. She's kinda observed it and just kept being cool. ( I say that not as a fan btw!)
If you indulge in your own status though then eventually it gets so big that people are overwhelmed and so get sick of it.
I mean, look at all the " hollywood it girls" now! People are sick of them and they're slowly fading away...
The same could happened to Agy. She could end up attaching herself too much to a time and when the time is over she'll get left with it!

Are you sure Moss was being cool with her hype and all? I don't know, I wasn't in that era. People are already getting sick of her and it's not her fault; it's the media. They said she's a trend setter but she clearly said she copied from her favourite person back in the 80s.

Kate has bought into her own hype though, there's no other explanation for her Topshop range.
I'll reserve judgement until I've heard the song, but I'm not holding my breath - most of Five O'Clock Heroes' stuff is inoffensive rock-by-numbers

Well, I think the Topshop range was more to do with her friendship with Philip Green and the fact that people WANTED that range at first ( I say at first! Lol!)
As far as I know, it's not popular demand that's making Agy expand into singing.
Anyway, if she's good I'll accept it but I just cringe when anyone gets famous and crosses over careers!
Too many bad situations come to mind! Lol!

her Topshop range came long after the peak of her model career...Moss has been around for 20 years, Aggy just started...
and as far as i know she never had an i-D issue 'contributed' to her Aggy was happy with that, even guest-edited her OWN issue...so dont give me 'its the media' as a reason

I'm sure someone will correct me if I've got this wrong, but I don't think Kate was friends with Philip Green when she suggested the idea to him, they had just bumped into each other at a few events.
And people did want that range because Kate is a "style icon", but that's what hype is and Kate bought into it.
