oh much longer! but Kate stopped doing runway modelling...apart from her campaigns and the occasional editoral shes not modelling....Aggy does EVERYTHING...and EVERYTHING rite NOW! everything at once...
and as i said...the i-D issue says it all for me...

I agree she looked cute at Coachella, but def not the most interesting or edgy outfit imo. Still great though! It's nice to see her wearing something not picked out by a mental patient! lol!

Maybe I'm crazy but I don't see what's so bad about the i-D issue... I'm sure she wasn't like, 'Hey, how about splashing 'ICON' on the cover? ' The mag clearly likes her and I can't imagine that many other people would decline the opportunity to have an issue centered around them, especially if they could have a hand in producing it. As for the music thing, clearly she is big into music and has a lot of connections, and now she's taking advantage of that. Again, nothing that others wouldn't do.

To me, Agyness is just a big character who is getting into a lot of different things at once, and other people are parading around her trying to make her the new queen of the world or whatever. That's their own fault, and they're the annoying ones IMO.

well she was guest-editing the issue...her own issue...
so she let them put 'ICON' on the cover...and she let them basically make them the new queen of the world as u say...
as i said...the others create the hype, yes but she lives it and enjoys it...it annoys me, if it doesnt annoy others, thats fine, everyone has their opinions...

I don't think it's fair to want to limit a model to "just modeling" if they are capable of doing more. It's pretty obvious Deyn has always had an interest in music. It's only a problem when people overrate their potential and want to take on everything regardless of their talent or are simply trying to cash in on a trend.

I kinda agree with this point. To me the annoying part is mix of both (other people and herself), because she's more outrageous when she knows she's gonna be photographed.
I think she's getting more and more driven by the hype. It's a shame cos in candid pics, like those from that festival, she looks cute and nicely dressed and not at all like when she's at events...(that's vibe I get anyway)

thats what i was saying in the Model's Street Style thread...cos ppl were saying that shes always 'overboard' and i said not always, but strangely always when she knows shes gonna be photographed alot more...
and yeah that annoys me...

and nobody's limiting her to anything...but she certainly knows how to play her cards (her connections to the music scene, her magazine editor friends etc) it seems that she wants to fill more and more water in a bucket thats already overflowing...if u get the metaphor

^ I get it, and completely agree. Like I said million times before, I like her as a model, and some hype over her style is OK, because she can dress great when she isn't trying to hard, but all this obsession is ridiculous and getting worse, and it will, for sure, be big blow for her when press find someone new...and that will happen, and IMO soon, if she "keeps filling the bucket" at this paste (to use your metaphor)

plus shes part of a 'scene' that is already on the verge of 'dying out' so...if she doesnt change her 'strategy' and IMO that would be...stepping back a bit...she will die with that scene...icons are timeless...and shes too much 'right now'
