Alaïa S/S 2026 Paris

Those fringe stockings are absolutely horrible. All I could think about is a christmas story from my childhood. He said he hate fringe and then used the everywhere. I hate thats runway way to. very next top model

Donatella doesn’t own the brand. So we are as unsure of Vitale staying or leaving as we are of Pieter leaving (giving the latests whispers).
The Prada bought the brand and Capri appointed Vitale. It’s on them. But if he has the support of Donatella, great!
That vitale is cute I give him that,

Are you guys sure

I heard from friends at MFW that his collection wasn’t received well at all by buyers and, quite frankly, was a flop. So Prada will react quickly as he (involuntarily) proved them that Capri made wrong choice promoting him to CD without consulting it with Prada suits. I bet PM will be installed by the end of the year.

what other choice would they have? How can you sale a collection like that ? They should have not let him put on that show. Makes more Confusion for the brand.

And me? Setting foot in a Versace store for the first time in 15 years… don’t they want new customers ?
That’s the most irritating piece of news.

I didn't like his collection, but the idea of Pieter at Versace is ridiculous. This man is the antithesis of everything Versace stands for. He is completely incapable of expressing sensuality and eroticism through the clothes or playing with bad taste. I would rather give Dario a second chance than see Mulier send out models looking like modern art sculptures. He is too cold and serious for an Italian house.

I like his work but it’s not correct for where he’s employed at. Every collection feels like he strays further and further …

From what I was told, expect him to allegedly leave early 2026.

Initial whispers during MFW was that he'd head to YSL and Vacarello would take Versace but now the PM at Versace scenario seems more likely according to industry chatters.

We'll see. He did a good job at Alaia, I wonder who they'd replace him with.

thanks for the gossips, but PM at YSL or Versace does not make it any better.
What’s next , Raf at Tom Ford ?
