Nina Ricci S/S 2026 Paris

Felt heavy to be a spring summer collection.
And it was a mess, too all over the place and the one look for men's wear made no sense.

cheap looking indeed and messy! Carine styeld this??? damn.

Looks like a collection of the worst Tom Ford had to offer at his namesake! That last dress unleashed a level of fugliness in Paris that sits right alongside those final dresses from Dries.

For a haunted house of bad taste you could use the Dries moomoos as curtains and this atrocity of a ballgown as the duvet.

I keep forgetting Harris Reed is at this brand, so everytime I see a new collection from them it’s always a case of confusion.

Here I’m even more confused. Tried for Dundas at both Pucci and Cavalli, a touch of Ungaro, and some of Fords more glam rock collections for his namesake. But it’s abysmal. Nothing fits right and nothing is made right. Why we keep letting such pathetic designers continue working I have no idea. Mediocrity reigns supreme, and I hope Carine was paid well for having to work with such a mess.

Some of it was promising but the bad Ungaro horror references abound

Michel Gaubert did the music!
All the money really went on having Carine and Michel. This is Reed’s vanity project to have open doors in the Parisian nightlife/fashion scene.
Because, he could have spent his budget better.

Not even Carine saved this mess
She's a part of the mess, I don't think someone else threw two different leather belts with gold buckles on a ruffled black gown and added mustard-y python pumps :nauseated: Carine is a household name in the industry and has defined a fabulous era at Vogue Paris, but her styling instincts aren't faultless and the female Johnny Depp look that we see here is and has been her gig every so often.
