Jessica “Don’t Call Me Latina” Alba can’t open a movie.
The self-hating actress’ new film, Awake, opened with a disappointing $6.01 million at the U.S. box office this weekend.
Perhaps moviegoers find Alba as unappealing as we do. Or maybe they just read the reviews, which savage the film and Don’t Call Me Latina.
“Possibly the worst movie of 2007,” said one reviewer.
And, countered another critic, “For what it’s worth: The best Jessica Alba movie of the year!”
