Alberta Ferretti F/W 2023.24 : Ida Heiner by Rafael Pavarotti

With the way the lights and shadows hit her face and neck it looks like someone took a bite out of her.

it’s either the lighting, the retouching or both but the result made the shot AI looking which is not good imo. but it does have potential.

I love the look, it's just the retouching and shaving that have been done so badly.

Could be such a great image but why so much photoshop on such a stunning face & Model? But
great to see her gaining a further big campaign! :grinning::beatingheart:

I don’t like this. It looks too touched up and fake.

Lookbook at best. The only one that worked in AF with simpler campaigns was Roversi, apart from that I miss Meisel's campaigns...F/W 2007 is still my favorite!

I love her in the red coat and in the red dress. Gorgeous. Too sad that the these days campaigns look often like lookbooks. I liked the campaigns outside at a great location. Chanel did this in former times. Loved for example the one SS 2011, that was a great concept! Also later ones. And I loved the early ones
with Claudia at the Cote Azur for Example. Is it too expensive to make a campaign not in studio in these times?

first two shots are indeed stunning! shame we don’t have the same force on every picture.
could’ve been great!

Is Rafael ever going to learn that most of the photoshop work he is doing can be easily done in camera with right lighting?

The photographs are amateur. The saving grace is the clothes. They deserve better.

The way some photographers like Rafael will be gone in few years... They are many "trendy" photographers and few talented ones.

I've come to admire the work of Rafael Pavarotti lately, even more so following his contributions to the likes of Vogue Italia and W Magazine. This, however, is seriously lacking and looks amateur for a brand like Alberta Ferretti. It's all just so very static and more suited to a lookbook. A massive flop, IMO.
