About time that Alberta Ferretti receives major recognition for creating gorgeous looks for women. Her design epitomizes what is whimsical, feminine, and youthful. It is not exactly intellectual, but not shallowly pretty either. I don't understand why she is not in the same league with Carolina Herrera yet. Maybe she just needs better PR.

But I think AW05 was better though.

Ferretti....loving the satin and the chiffon as usual. There's nothing unpleasant about it...nothing eye-popping either. Some very girly looking pieces....ah well...if it turns up on the racks of Les Moutons a Cinq...I wouldn't mind indulging.
