Every Friday, Casting Agent Natalie Joos meets up with some of her favorite discoveries for a face to face chat.

A bright, young 15-year-old girl from Los Angeles came in to see the other day. Aleah Morgan looks like a mix between Joan Smalls and Jourdan Dunn: tall, thin, soft, and elegant with flawless skin and a pretty smile. She has the kind of editorial, yet timelessly classic and approachable look that will open a lot of doors, whether it’s at Vogue or Gap. While her mom and baby sister were waiting downstairs she sat down with me to answer some silly questions. Here is how she giggled her way through the answers.

NATALIE JOOS How long have you been in New York?
ALEAH MORGAN Since May 29th.

NJ How do you like to so far?
AM I love it. It’s very consuming but I love the all the craziness. I know I want to live here when I’m older.

NJ What is the biggest difference btw industry New Yorkers and peoples from Los Angeles?
AM New Yorkers are more chill. They’re fun and happy. They take everything much easier than over there. Less pressure.

NJ What is your favorite part about modeling?
AM RUNWAY! I LOVE runway! I love the excitement and pumping of my heart before I have to go on. I love how I am nervous and thrilled when I’m walking. In New York I can’t do runway yet until I’m 16. I think there is a new law against minors doing shows.

NJ What is the worst thing about modeling”
AM I haven’t really thought about that yet…. I guess I don’t like it when people are rude, when people throw clothes at you to put on, disrespectfully. There are people who regard models are worthless and nothings….

NJ Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
AM I see myself modeling and be successful, working a lot. I hope I make it far.

NJ Who are some of your role model girls?
AM I used to look up to Naomi Campbell until I heard and read she was rude to people. I like Sessilee Lopez and Chanel Iman.

NJ Do you have any obsessions?
AM I LOVE reading. I read a lot. I’m always sad when I get to the register at the book store with a stack of books and my mom tells me I can only take one… But I’m not weird or a nerd or anything. I’m not a bookworm!

NJ What kind of music do you like?
AM Hip Hop and JUSTIN BIEBER!
