Magic Mike, which is out next year, follows an upstart male stripper (Pettyfer) who is mentored by a veteran dancer (Tatum). Steven Soderbergh directs from a script by Reid Carolin, whose screenplay is inspired by Channing’s work as a stripper before he made it in Hollywood. Matt Bomer, Riley Keough, Olivia Munn, and Cody Horn also star.

Can’t wait to watch. And to find out why Joe’s character is named Big Dick Richie!

Channing Tatum and Matt Bomer show off their ripped physiques in this new still from Magic Mike (via Entertainment Weekly).

The Steven Soderbergh-directed film, out June 29, co-stars Alex Pettyfer and Adam Rodriguez, also pictured inside shirtless.

Matt recently opened up about enduring his first waxing experience for the male stripper movie.

“I’m not a very hairy individual to begin with, but it was painful. But more than that, the pain didn’t bother me so much, it was more the feeling of feeling kind of prepubescent again, walking around with no hair on your legs, in jeans, feeling kind of naked all the time, that was odd,” he told EW.

“I have a newfound appreciation for women, between the waxing, self-tanning, the constant gym time; I have a whole new profound respect for women and what they go through,” he added.

Alex Pettyfer and his girlfriend, Riley Keough, go out to lunch together at Le Petit Four on Monday (March 12) in Los Angeles.

The couple is rumored to be engaged – Riley was spotted wearing what looks to be an engagement ring.



During lunch, Alex, 21, excused himself to answer a phone call. When he came back to the table, he gave Riley a kiss. Aww!

Alex and Riley star together in the upcoming film Magic Mike – she plays a fellow stripper who’s a bad influence on Alex‘s character!

Magic Mike will hit theaters on June 9 – we can’t wait!!

“They looked really cute together,” an onlooker tells JustJared.com. “Alex had his arm around Riley most of the day. They also shared a giant pickle and a huge turkey leg for lunch.”

Last week, Riley was in New York City at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival promoting her new flick, Jack and Diane. Alex was in Los Angeles helping Lana Del Rey shoot her new “Summertime Sadness” video.
