I don't think that's it, surely Kelly wouldn't have won if that was the case?! It was voted for by people who shop in the The Perfume Shop and would take the time to fill out a form. Coleen McLoughlin won last year... Alexa's style is more off-beat and I think the general public like Kelly for being "curvy" etc.

I think Kelly dresses really well actually and Im surprised she won as she isnt the kind of gal Id associate with people that shop there.

Alexa is a bit of a favourite with the British fashion set at the moment because they tend to appreciate that "thrown together" indie look that Alexa goes for but to people not so interested in fashion Alexa probably looks like she gets dressed in the dark!

That's true, my mum knows who Kelly is but has probably never heard of Alexa .

It's a totally pointless award anyway, but I'm glad Kelly won, her style has improved so much and I get the impression that it would mean a lot to her. I read an interview with her where she became emotional when talking about winning an Elle Style Award.
