Let the financial analysts drone on about giving the economy a good haircut. You and I know the only snipping worth discussing this week is the Cleopatra fringe Alexa Chung sported at Monday’s British Fashion Awards. It is but weeks since this very page predicted that the Full Frontal Fringe (or what, if we were American, we’d call the Big Bangs) was heading our way.
Now, we can exclusively reveal that Chung got hers courtesy of George Northwood, who also gave Emma Watson her pixie crop. George, who works at the Josh Wood’s Atelier (no less!) in London’s Notting Hill, is adorable and a raging optimist - two handy character traits when you’re selling fringes to clients. He insists this one works on almost everyone, because it “blends out to the sides, and it’s oval shaped, so it’s less severe than the straight-across fringe.” But is it an austerity cut? Yes, in as much as it’s low maintenance, unlike certain fringes George could name. “When it grows out, there’s an element of Bardot about it. A simple blow dry will keep it sleek and, because it’s cut from quite far back to the crown of the head, even wispy hair will look thick. It works worn messy, too, like Alexa’s.”
But the Einstein of Big Bangs has one caveat. “It’s probably not for those with ‘round’ faces, as it cuts the face in half”. Oh, and he’s calling it the Modern Mullet. I’ll sit this one out.

Love the outfit at the train station with Rosie and Cara, the sweater and pants are perfect

I think APC may have a similar jumper to the one Alexa is wearing in the latest photos with Rosie and Cara. or Wood Wood has a similar, I think the style is called Carla. I think it may be sold out everywhere though. Is the sweater Carven possibly?

Thanks Laisla ^_^ I love the shirt in the 5th picture shirt in #456, wish I could find one like this !

Some pretty good looks indeed:) :)
Even if she has a lot of ups and downs, she has still one of the best style inspiration out there.

Alexa's had a fantastic year  so nice to see all of those brilliant different looks again. Thank you :).

Stunning! I love all those looks on her. She has always had such great style. Can't wait to see next year's!

I actually have a soft spot for the fox jump suit, even if it is pretty unflattering. At least she tries to change things up a bit, even if it doesn't always work.
