Alexa Chung launches her womenswear collaboration with Marks & Spencer at the Marks & Spencer Marble Arch store on April 13, 2016 in London, England. The 31 piece womenswear collection has been curated and handpicked by Alexa and the M&S design team.

Don't like her selection at all. Everything is so ill fitted. And why is she still dressing like a little girl? Laziest look ever.

I have to agree with you Les Sucettes. I mean these are dresses little girls wear. Not grown women. Alexa can get away wearing this even at 32 years old but not most everyday average women.

I would think the clientele for her collection was quite limited which doesn't exactly say M&S to me

Her clothes are always aimed for teenagers and this time around it's no different. She's alienating adult women and plus sizes again. I saw a lot of plus size teen fans on Facebook complaining that the sizes run too small. Adult woman find the clothes awful. If you want more of a better picture on how women feel about this new collection of hers, look at the comments on the Daily Mail.

I like a few pieces from her M & S collection, but they are nothing that hasn't been done or you couldn't find for less at H & M.

personally, i think she should stick to t.v. work. it's more of a forte for her. designing is not. she's also written some decent "op ed" pieces for various magazines. she's not a writer in the book-sense, but she can pen some decent articles. basically i think "journalism" (of some sort) is what she should do - either to do with music or fashion. but these design ventures don't impress. she should also consider moving back to britain because she was more interesting when she lived there. ^_^

As usual I agree with everything you said :flower::flower:. I'm not a huge fan of her writing though. I think she's much stronger and gifted for hosting and interviewing instead of written pieces. Her Vogue Uk web docu-series suits her perfectly imo. The whole format perfectly showcases her skills.

^ yes exactly wolkfolk. fashion journalism then. she could try to follow in genie becker's footsteps or something. do a web series... her husky voice, humour, wit, and ease with all types of people - these are her strengths.

The Vogue Future of Fashion series she did is really good. That is what she's good at. I was thinking the other day why hasn't she moved back to England. There's nothing in New York for her work-wise. The only thing I can think of now is because of Alexander living in New York and she wants to be closer to him. Most of her friends and family are in England. No sense.

Is the Vogue thing for UK or US Vogue? I always thought US :ninja:

It's funny, I though Alex lived in New York because of her  He'd be much closer to his family if he lived in London after all ^_^

Hope she improved her TV personality, because her short live MTV show was horrible with a big fat capital H.

Alexa Chung hosted a Villoid Garden Tea Party at iconic The Hollywood Roosevelt in Los Angeles on Thursday
