I quite like that outfit as well. The skirt is just lovely, as is the blouse. It seems to have nice details, for the closer pictures above. I would have loved to see more of the skirt though.

Or maybe people just won't think she's funny? Deadpan or not. She has great style, but really, she's not as funny/clever as she think she is. She probably be fine at MTV since their VJ's are pinheads to the nth degree these days. How I long for the days of Matt Pinfield and Kurt Loder again.

Yeah, I was thinking that about MTV in America too.... they won't get the humour and that's her whole ´bit´. but I have to disagree with you Capn Birdseye, I think she's very funny and witty too. Well, probably not so much presenting, more so in interviews.

*edit: I just realised she wore those shoes with socks again on Frock Me haha, I didn't notice much discussion of it this time. I am weirdly attracted to it, even though it makes me feel a bit queasy, it's the ugly element..... that's granny chic!

love love love those shoes alexa is wearing in that wedding pic...i know they've been id'ed as vintage, but has anyone come across something similar??

I bought a black wool peacoat yday (couldn't get navy) and intend to change the buttons to emulate alexa's....will keep the thread updated on how it goes.

The shoes aren't vintage, they're Marc by Marc Jacobs lattice strap pumps :flower:
