Alexa is very much from a more wealthier background than Cheryl. Cheryl is the typical 'rags to riches' story which is why some class her as a national treasure

Alexa's background is quite normal, to be fair. She was raised in Hampshire, became a model at age 16 (?), later on started off as a TV presenter and now she's known for that, her fashion sense and partly also for dating Alex Turner (musician of Arctic Monkeys, well-known band in the UK and awfully amazing too, ahahaha).
And I never heard Cheryl saying she's the pope of pop. I just believe she's been talking a lot because people are starting to notice/like her.
