Alexa Chung

I really those Matt Irwin pictures^_^. I also enjoyed that recent interview with her. I find it quite nice how she finds it weird how many girls copy the way she dresses and how she is an 'it Girl'. It's really refreshing because if I were in her shoes I would find it weird too:p

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE her hair here.
and she looks just so beautifull!

I saw alexa yesterday walking in columbia road flower market!

with her mum i think

truely adoreable though and stunning.... could spot her a mile off..

It's Charles Anastase...if it was this one.
Lucky you! Was her mum stunning too?
I LOVE the interview and pics. I like Jess Cartner Morley too.
My favourite is the plaid shirt one. I've always loved that poster. It's great to see a new interpretation of it staring Alexa!! Steph Stevens is great too. The Weekend magazine has such good staff!
I love that I found out what Alexa is reading because I've read both of the books she's reading at the moment. HEHE and she loves Lolita anyway...
sphagnum.esplanade I would have to disagree with what you wrote and I'd also have to disagree with the person who said it was well written.
It wasn't.
How exactly do you "multiply giving her colums [sic]the benefit of the doubt"...by two?
I don't want to get personal and I'm sorry but what you have written is maddening.
Maybe your semiological reading of the JCM interview was different to mine but it's not Alexa's fault if what is written about her says for trend forecasters to take note. (by the by that's an astute observation about the fashion industry.)
DS has already cleared up the other things.
I did, however, have to look up de - recognise in the dictionary and this is what I came up with:
"derecognise
verbcause to be no longer approved or accepted; "Carter derecognized Taiwan in 1979 after the U.S. recognized the People's Republic of China" [syn: decertify] [ant: certify] WordNet® 3.0, © 2006 by Princeton University."
Now sure how it fits into this context.
Just because Alexa can recognize & de-recognize looks from notable past decades .
I do agree with you that there are a plethora of teenage girls who could replace Alexa at any moment. And I think from reading her columns and interviews that she realises it too which is the 2nd best thing about her.
The first being her style; It is easily copied and altered but never matched.

her hair looks fantastic, esp the colour! it must have been highlighted but it looks so natural.

I love the necklace too - i don't suppose anyone knows where its from?

it's funny how somebody sees her and says what she was wearing and then we look through her virtual wardrobe and find everything that she was wearing :D

is anyone else bored of the "i used to hate alexa, but now i love her" artcicles in the media?
