I don't want to get personal and I'm sorry but what you have written is maddening.
Maybe your semiological reading of the JCM interview was different to mine but it's not Alexa's fault if what is written about her says for trend forecasters to take note. (by the by that's an astute observation about the fashion industry.)

I did, however, have to look up de - recognise in the dictionary and this is what I came up with:

I do agree with you that there are a plethora of teenage girls who could replace Alexa at any moment. And I think from reading her columns and interviews that she realises it too which is the 2nd best thing about her.
The first being her style; It is easily copied and altered but never matched.
. I also enjoyed that recent interview with her. I find it quite nice how she finds it weird how many girls copy the way she dresses and how she is an 'it Girl'. It's really refreshing because if I were in her shoes I would find it weird too
