so has she landed the DKNY campaign or have I misunderstood?
The wording is a bit strange.. Hopefully they mean that she has already shot the next campaign? Her London agency's site (lizmatthewspr) does say that she's "modelled this season's collection for New Look and has a few more campaigns in the running for 2009".

Alexa Chung has gone from short bob to long bob and back to chin length again. George Northwood, Creative Director at Daniel Hersheson salons cut this cute style for Alexa and talked us through the look she wanted to achieve.

"Alexa came in with three inspirations for the cut she wanted. The first was that kind of look you get when you're little and your mum cuts a one length bob for you. The second is the 1990s style which Alexa is a big fan of and lastly she was inspired by the kind of hair you see in pictures of Victorian children. The overall idea was that it should look a little wig-like."

Alexa has grown out her fringe and had a little colour put in the ends of her hair for an uplighting effect; this is a colour technique that mimics the way the hair reacts naturally to the sun adding beachy, sun-highlighted colour to the ends and leaving the roots dark. George adds; "Alexa suits her hair worn a little messy; spritz with Kerastase Huile en Lait Oleo-Curl which adds texture to fine hair. Flip hair upside down and blast with the dryer for a slightly mussed-up look."

I love the new bob!
I think because her face has become more defined and more mature over the last few years, the haircut shows her face more. I also sort of think the maturity of her face is wonderfully juxtaposed with the 'youngness' of her haircut.

I think you confuse maturity with something else that I can not mention in this thread.

Is posting all her twitter updates really necessary? I think we all know where to go if we want to read them ;)

I'm not loving the hair, but it will grow out and look adorable in no time, I'm sure.

I just thought that maybe not everyone here uses Twitter, hence the updates for those interested. Those uninterested, avoid reading

You don't have to use Twitter (thank God) to read her page though. I just found it a little odd, since I haven't noticed people doing this in other threads, didn't mean to offend.
