WOW the Jalouse cover is uh-may-zing!
She does looks shapely, strangely...and sexy too. I love the pose.

Just bought the Marc Jacobs Dita dress and so excited to receive it- i have been searching endlessly for it since i first saw Alexa wearing it and miraculously it turned up in my size on eBay. Hopefully it will fit

Alexa's NY Blog
When I woke up this morning:
I put on a dress with a harlequin print on it with some deck shoes (an awful combination) and ran to the door to meet my realtor who wanted the money I owed her. She said I should go to the gym with her - I told her I thought I’d pass out from any form of physical exercise.

What I’ve been up to in New York:
Thus far I’ve been dedicating most of my time to buying furniture. I bought a weird velvet sofa from the junk shop underneath my apartment, it looks like it contains biting creatures beneath the upholstery.

Coolest things about NY:
All the amazing restaurants and the fact that within the space of a week I’ve seen more people I know from London than on an average week in London.

Most confusing things about NY:
The subway system, and people saying “yes” to everything when they don’t actually mean it.

New thing I’ve learned about America:
Everyone has a dog.

What I miss from the UK:
Nothing so far, except being able to drink outside pubs.

My English accent in America:
There’s been a lot of “I don’t understand what you just said” going on but the more you try and pronounce your words clearly the further away it gets from being understood. You have to drop all your consonants.

Listening to on my iPod:
The Horrors, Love, The Shangri Las.

Best gig I’ve been to in NY:
I went to see The Kills last night. I was going to see Lady Gaga but then I remembered I don’t like her.

Best film I’ve seen:
I always forget things after I’ve seen them. The Notebook was pretty special.

Most cringe-worthy moment:
I keep skipping queues by mistake. Always embarrassing when you’re told off.

New shopping finds:
Crate and Barrel. ABC Carpet and Furniture.

Best star spot:
Winona Ryder at The Kills gig. She’s tiny.
