First thing I did when I woke up this morning

Last night I won a Glamour Award and celebrated accordingly by hitting a karaoke bar with Rick Edwards, George Lamb, my agent and so on and so forth. The first thing I did when I woke up was wonder how I got home…

What I’ve been up to recently

I just flew in from NYC to have a breather before my New York TV show goes live on the 15th. I leave Sunday. This week I've been trying to immerse myself in all things London before I have to leave for ages. Brick lane is about all I have managed so far… Natural History Museum is on my hit list. Love those damned dinos.

The coolest thing I’ve done recently

I got my face painted which I've always wanted to do since I was a child. I went for a tiger because I enjoy a classic. It was a toss up between that and a smiley face painted over my face. The woman doing it was dressed as a clown. I think she thought I was wasting her time.

Thoughts on being back in London

It’s amazing to be back but I think a cat has been squatting (literally) in my house cos it smells weird and the cat flap has been tampered with.

First thing I did when I got home

I went to sleep because my plane journey sucked. I ended up watching 'Australia' and crying over it for ages.

Favourite thing to do in NY

There are so many yummy places to eat it’s silly, so I like finding those. And, rummaging through all the vintage shops off Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg.

I saw One Night Only play a Burberry party I was DJing.

Most cringe-worthy thing to happen recently

I got nervous in a meeting with a late night TV show in America and said "hello" instead of "goodbye". That sucked.

I saw all of Blue at the Glamour Awards last night. I thought they making fun of me but when I asked them they said they weren't. Phew!

What I’m looking forward to this week

Getting my photos developed at Snappy Snaps. This is always the highlight of any week for me but there are no good photo labs in New York. Nobody shoots on 35mm anymore. Sometimes this keeps me awake at night. We're in the middle of an aesthetics crisis! Ha.
