I like her Charles Anastase outfit, not too sure about the jacket with that dress though. But it's still nice!

I was sat behind alexa at charles anastase last night, i asked her for a photo, and she was very friendly. The geldof sisters looked nasty, haha. I heard alexa ask how pixie did her hair, and she replied that she hadnt brushed it in days, unsurprisingly...

Charles Anastase loves Alexa

Last week in New York Alexa Chung told Grazia Daily she would be going to a few LFW shows. But the one she was most looking forward to? ‘I love Charles Anastase’. And sitting in the front row last night, wearing what appeared to be a child’s velvet party dress, with lace-up ankle boots and a brown leather flying jacket slung over one shoulder, Alexa perfectly pre-empted Anastase’s new collection that sent out puffy abstract dresses beneath structured leather jackets and smart trenches. But then Alexa and Charles are totally in synch style-wise. ‘I never, ever don’t like what he does,’ she told us before the show yesterday.

Alexa is the unofficial muse for the cool Parisian designer who was an acclaimed illustrator before he started making his chic girly pieces; 60’s dresses, all peter pan collars and short skirts, with school uniformy coats and trousers. Last season Chung DJ-ed at his after-party, and as soon as each outfit hits the catwalk, it’s Alexa you imagine wearing it. She’d make those peter pan collars look cool and low-key sexy. ‘I’m always looking at Alexa to see what she is wearing. She’s one of those London girls,’ the designer admitted to us backstage last night.

In fact it was in London that the pair met, five years ago. ‘We were at a festival and met through friends,’ Charles revealed. ‘She said she was a big fan of my clothes, and that she wanted to wear them on TV. But back then she was maybe having to wear jeans and a T shirt to look a bit more teenage. It’s good that she can express herself more with her fashion,’ he says of her hosting her own show, It’s On With Alexa Chung for US MTV.

And it seems like the feeling is mutual. Last night as I left, Alexa was patiently queuing up backstage to pay her respects to the designer. His clothes are always top of her fashion wish list. ‘Anything by Charles Anastase! It makes me feel sick, I love him so much,’ she said. Her current favourite? ‘I bought a white silk jumpsuit of his, it’s almost like incredibly glamorous silk pyjamas. I couldn’t buy that from any other designer. His clothes are just really fun.’ The jumpsuit is from a previous collection, but sure enough, on yesterday’s catwalk, there were more white silk jumpsuits; no doubt a nod to Chung’s recent purchase.

Nice outfit minus the jacket at Charles Anastase, but somewhat negated by the presence of the loathsome Geldof brats whose company she actually seems to enjoy.

EW i hate the brown jacket. hate hate hate it. im cool with the dress. i dont really like it and i thought it was a sweater cause i waaay too sort but whatevers, its quite alexoide so i think its ok for her.

I have that Acne flight jacket in black! It's called the Rita 2 jacket.
And I got it before Alexa, haha. But people will probably think I got it after...grrr! And I spent my whole summer's earnings on it!

I like the jacket but not the dress..

I like how she isnt afraid to wear things most fashion concious people wouldn't though, her mistakes are quite endearing and show she's quite brave with fashion, which is a rarity, really..
