The whole grown-woman-dressing-as little girl thing is getting old. Rompers, playsuits, peter-pan collars and baby doll dresses? You can dress youthfully without looking like you're are stuck at age 12.She should look at Kate Bosworth for someone who has a youthful style but still dresses like a grown-up.

she doesnt look or dress like a child. I feel shes referencing the mod look with the peter-pan collars more than anything. Same with Rompers/playsuits I see them more as a nod to the 90s/grunge rather than wanting to dress like a baby (who does that???)

haha how harsh! I've had a similar experience when i wore a peterpan collar dress, they just can't handle our superior fashion sense at least that's what i tell myself

That's hilarious! APC is one of my favourite brands to wear - what does that say about me? :/ Maybe that's why I don't have a boyfriend right now - people think I failed kindergarten.

you know - i love alexa, i think that beside her issues she is very, very intelligent and ironic smart, chic and funny. But her dressing is going nowhere. I mean - you can dress sweet and "cute" in your late 20/early 30 and not looking like big, 5 years old. It doesn't look good on anyone

Actually, it's when she DOESN'T dress according to her classic little-girl style that she fails badly!! Plus it's made her a millionaire...

Have to say though that her claims - repeated yet again in the latest (NYT) interview - that MTV/Americans/kids didn't "get" her humour during the It's On With Alexa run last year is nothing less than ridiculous, considering the only people she interviews on her British shows are her FRIENDS!! - of course they would know what to expect and react accordingly.

PBS is a well-respected station that not many people watch. It does not have many advertisements and it's supported mostly by public contributions and fund raising. The shows on PBS are generally intellectual and thought-provoking.
