In a way, i feel sorry for Alexa Chung because in terms of fashion she's this 'indie' staple for loads of girls/women, and her style has been mass marketed and now everyone is Alexa-fied. but on the other hand, she's always said that her friends dress just the same way, so maybe it's just a small trend that has become mainstream?

Either way, i'm just tired of this way of dressing, it's very cute and very nice, but now everyones doing it, it's getting a bit sickly.

Oh and, credit where it's due she does have a great sense of style and her own charm, i don't mean anything negative towards her with this post, just wondering if anyone else feels the same way?

I agree with you to an extent. I see a lot of people dress like her, but they don't do it properly. Some people do, but others look like they are copying someone and not really having their own style. It's frustrating because I've always dressed kind of like Alexa does (not exactly but some things we like are similar) and now I see everyone dressing the same so I'M the one feeling unoriginal... if that makes any sense :innocent:

I also agree with you....I've been dressing kind of like her for years even when i was at my last year of school and that's going back like 5 years. She's changing her look a little now i have noticed. She's a stunning young woman who's highly influenced fashion, i'm sure she's pretty proud of that.

i actually loved her two tone hair color...i tried and failed horribly at doing that to my hair, instead i got highlights :( i dyed it back the same day cuz it looked horrible, but it's always lovely on Alexa.

i like her hair how it is now actually i like how she changes it up a lot :)

^Yeah i know exactly what you mean, i get the same thing. It makes it harder to have the freedom to wear what you want, when you have the worry of feeling unorigional

Ooooh those are lovely! I myself got the Melissa x Vivienne Westwood 3-Strap Flats after seeing Alexa with similar ones!

oh those are really nice!

I found a pair on Etsy.com and they are hand made in Mexico.

Took about a month to make, but I got them yesterday and they are lovely!

you might want to order a size or half a size up because they run small...

I ordered a 6 1/2 and it feels like a 6 but it's still okay

next time im going to order size 7
