The flagship music programme Popworld has been axed after Channel 4 decided not to commission another series. Popworld was broadcast on the T4 weekend show and was on air for six years and had been presented by Simon Amstell and Miquita Oliver.
The current run of Popworld will end in July, however Channel 4 hopes to use the brand elsewhere. The Popworld magazine was axed earlier this month with only one single issue being published.

I knew that show wouldn't last with out Simon and Miquita. It's like they didn't even TRY to hire someone who would do a good job either. Not that I particularly dislike Alexa - Simon and Miquita were just a hard act to follow.

Love her style though. I'm so jealous - is she dating James from Klaxons?
