Alexa Chung pukes on boyfriend Alex Turner at the NME Awards

Poor old Alex Turner was left a fluourescent adolescent - when his sickly girlfriend performed a technicolour yawn all over him.
During a stomach-churningly passionate snog at last night's NME awards Alexa Chung was overcome with emotion. Quite literally.
One minute the couple were chewing each other's faces off, tongues roaming and hands wandering the next the Popworld babe emitted a strange growling noise.
However, distracted by the illicit excitement of it all, the eager Arctic Monkey continued with his romantic slobberings.
Until, that is, the T4 presenter stopped, turned... and promptly vomited all over her him - and his brand-new trainers.
Who said romance was dead, eh?
Looking slightly stunned - if not a bit green himself - Alex, 21, then leapt backwards into the air and as far away from the offending mess as humanly possible.
To be fair, gentlemanly Alex - who eventually picked up the big one, Best British Band, along with Best Track and Best Video at the bash at London's O2 Arena - then led Alexa to the loos and mopped her up.
"Alex and Alexa were having a cheeky snog by the lifts shortly before he was due to go on stage," says our mole.
"It was all getting pretty heated when all of a sudden Alexa began to heave - and was suddenly violently sick.
"After filming her show for T4 all day it appears she'd developed a severe bout of food poisoning.
"Alex was a knight in shining armour though. He insisted on accompanying her to the toilets and holding her hair back as she hurled into the loo."
Ah, the test of true love...
Our source continued: "It wasn't the most romantic of occasions but Alexa looked extremely grateful for his gentle TLC."
While the TV host was forced to retire early and head home to her sick bed for an early night, the entire incident meant the Arctics frontman was nearly 20 minutes late going on stage.
Arf.
Or should that be "barf"?
