She certainly is so steady with that eyeliner, it always looks perfectly done. Bring on Sunday and fingers crossed for some outfit changes during the show!

me too, and those knee high socks - she really should stop wearing them!

the shoes are kind of funny-shaped but I adore the kneesocks, I don't see what's so overdone about them...

ohmygoodness I just noticed they had smiley faces on them! how cute ^_^
Me too! I read that her shoes are Chanel, but I can't find them anywhere on the internet.

On Gok's Fashion Fix tonight-
Fashion series presented by Gok Wan and Alexa Chung. Gok reveals the secrets to beach holiday glamour on a high street budget, while Alexa heads to Italy to meet the woman behind the multi-coloured knits of Missoni. And former OC star Mischa Barton opens her wardrobe.

The high street challenge part of the show is starting to annoy me :innocent: A New Look dress with a corsage stuck to the front of it doesn't look the same as a Chanel dress. It wouldn't be so bad if the audience didn't "vote" for Gok's designs every week. I don't understand why TV programmes about fashion always seem to insist that high street is best. I can't afford to buy designer clothes, but enjoy admiring them from afar. Travel and architecture programmes look at things that are out of most people's price ranges, and don't try to convince them that a holiday in Butlins is better than the Dominican Republic, or that a bedsit is better than three-story Georgian house

I totally agree, diamondsea. Alexa is the only part of this show keeping me watching really!

i agree with this completely. i read someone write somewhere that the audience do genuinely vote for it though... (well at least at the shows that this person was in the audience for!) not that that says much though, clearly the majority of people just have no taste haha... i think it's just because gok styles them in such an obvious sort of look magazine ~quirky~ accessorized way whereas the designer looks tend to be more understated...

I have a feeling that it's going to become a bit of a Friday Night Project and Gok will NEVER LOSE! The best parts are definitely Alexa's outfits, her interviews and seeing how the designer outfits are put together.

Alexa was wearing Oliver Goldsmith Tak sunglasses at Glastonbury - she spotted them on Gok's Fashion Fix ^_^

has anyone seen that stripey gap dress in store [in the uk?]

I really, really, really want it :ermm:
