i think modeling was awful because she mostly worked crap jobs. but doing high fashion like westwood is nothing to complain about.

I used to laugh at that not because it was funny more because it was absolute sh*t I actually hated Alexa at the time (still sort of do) so I found it very entertianing

I think it's unfair to judge someone on who they're dating like if you hate Alex you hate her for dating him or visversa. So I never really take in to context that. I don't hate her for dating Alex. I think that's childish. I don't even hate her I just dislike her attitude really. But I still love coming on here cos she's got great style & I would actually go as far as saying she's one of my style icons. Ok that makes sense I dislike one of my fashion icons

and it's not that i dislike her, she irritates me at times.

Me too Every thread needs balance and objectivity, but Alexa gets more than her fair share.

Lots of people are ready to pounce simply because she's dating Alex Turner. Others seem to be turned off by her self-confidence. Personally, I think confidence is a positive quality and Alexa is able to laugh at herself/ her fame too. I love that she's honest about enjoying attention etc. Some parts of her print interviews do make me cringe, but many don't - I really enjoyed the recent Elle one. As others have said, she's usually funny and totally charming in videos, which are probably a better indicator.

I don't see how she has changed as person (well, what we see on TV etc). She was sarcastic on Popworld and still is today. She didn't 'ruin' Popworld. Simon was Popworld, so it was never going to be the same after his departure, For what it's worth, I thought Alexa was a thousand times better than Miquita

Yes, The Wall was an absolute disgrace of a programme, but I don't understand how it would cause someone to dislike Alexa as a person .

On the plus side, there's often more than 30 people viewing the thread. It has had over one million views in total, so Alexa must be doing something right . Many of those who criticise do so over and over again, and so have obviously subscribed to the thread

I don't know why I've written this as it will inevitably lead to more bitching, but I can't help myself

I don't mind her presenting (shocker!!) but, for anyone, she has to be better than the alternatives - Fearne Cotton, Holly Willoughby, Denise Van Outen, Zezi, the list goes on...

I'm probably one of the only Turner fans that also really loves Alexa. I guess because I'm from the US I don't ever see her on TV and I don't have a chance to hate her for being a "crap presenter" but in all the interviews I've seen on Youtube, I think she's adorable. I don't know! I think she just sort of acts obnoxious, I don't think she actually is, and it's endearing. Plus, she always looks lovely, and that's the real reason I keep coming back here
