Alexa Chung

That's a funny article. I like it, I too was wondering why the Sun ´journalist´ missed out the columist bit of her resume. He must have missed it during his extensive research seeing as it's only new.
Anyway, laisla, love your avatar!
Hehe Alex James with cheese up his bum. That's better than hearing yet again about his Blur debauchery, he already has a book about it!

can anyone id this necklace?

i am in love with it but doubt i'll ever find the same one as it seems like the kind of thing you'd just pick up when you go on holiday from a local market or something!

its alwyas worty looking on ebay too- i found a brill one by searching for American Indian beaded necklae- look on ebay.com worldwide

Instead of searching "American Indian beaded necklace" on ebay, try "Native American beaded necklace". I just found a bunch that are similar!

this weeks colums reads alot better than the previous ones...but she needs to stop the wining and the jumping around the bush on things.you know what i mean???whats the update on her mtv show???

alexa should just stick to looking pretty. the words from her mouth, or rather pen, are atrocious.

That's her worst article so far. Pointless and she sounds like she's giving an apology.

i quite liked it...and i love that she likes alexandra best :p (i too, am ashamed that i watch that show)

What annoys me most about this column is she seems to constantly moan in it! No wonder a lot of The Independent readers are slatting her for it!

Does anybody else feel like she's trying too hard? Especially in the loftiness of her writing style. It grates if you read her sentences out loud. Too many syllables. Her choice of words, particularly adjectives, seem really forced; it's as though she's trying to appear more intelligent than she is. Worse still, she isn't actually writing about anything in particular.

It's a shame her writing style isn't as effortless as her fashion sense.

I should really be doing my english language coursework on this! 'How Alexa Chung tries to hard!'

This is probably her best column thus far. I even kind of enjoyed it.
I agree. I still find it a bit 'wordy', but it made me smile. It's definately nothing to be embarassed about.

Alexa Chung attends the Atelier Moet launch party, at Atelier Moet on December 3, 2008 in London, England.
