I'm impressed by her last two columns. I like the way she handled the Cheryl Cole thing, but mostly, I respect how she is willing to write about her preoccupation with the way people on the internet perceive her. It's a feat that she doesn't come across as utterly self-absorbed. I can relate to her ambivalence towards reading about herself, although I am not a public figure. If I were, I would also be compelled to read what others thought of me, and no doubt it would be very hurtful at times.
On a lighter note, I discovered a pair of sheer black stockings with little black hearts on them at the back of my closet, exactly like the ones she wore a while ago. I couldn't believe I still had them after many years, my tights usually get ruined within a month. And I found them stuffed inside a leather briefcase-like satchel that I used to carry frequently.
It reminded me of why I started to visit this thread; beyond her column, tv show, rockstar boyfriend, It-girl status, and whatever else may be irritating at times, I adore Alexa's style! Always have, apparently...
