Oh it's ok. I don´t like it either when people criticize someone I like. But, like I said, I love Alexa. I just don´t get as excited as I used to to see what she's wearing. It beacame a little boring lately. I'm still hoping this will change, cause maybe is just a phase.

I'm still a little unsure of her move to the US (if it happens). I just don't know if most Americans will understand her sense of humor. Plus, MTV's target audience is so mainstream, which makes me even more skeptical.

I agree, especially after how many rude coments were said after the infamous interview she did with a certain 'emo' band and how many of their fans just through she was being bitchy to that band. Most of these MTV viewers over here will not get her British sense of humor. I mean, we get it, but will they get it?! Than again, she could prove us wrong.

And I'm sorry, but I'm tired of reading in this thread that Americans won't get her "British sense of humor". Hate to break it to you, but people everywhere have the same sarcastic/dry sense of humor that Brits have. If she's funny, people will get it. I've seen way more UK journalist knocking her humor than I have US journalist.

We're not talking about journalists here, or even American people in general. We're talking about MTV's audience, people who think Will Ferrell is the pinnacle of humor. Like Florecita said, many of the scathing comments on her interview with Panic At the Disco come from fans of the band. And these are the people who watch MTV.

I hope things work out for her, I do, but I'm not convinced they will.

Agreed.
US is deffinitely country big enough to find there people who will get her humor and also people who won't get her humor... just like in Britain... just like in Slovakia... just like anywhere else... (but I have to admit I am probably the only person from Slovakia who knows, who Alexa Chung is... )

i really like alexa's style, but I cannot help but remember the impression she left on us when me and my friends were at an aftershow party in London. she seemed very rude and up herself. maybe she was having a bad day but anyways!

I feel like Alexax's style has changed lately, I think she's growing up a big. I'm the same as and I'm feeling the same too.
So I really like the last outfit. I love the coat, especially the gold buttons on it.
I think Alexa and Alex are having a competition to see who can go the longest without having their hair cut.
I wish they'd cut that out....
