What is Twitter?

It's microblogging, you can only use a maximum of 140 characters each time. You say what you think, what you are doing, reply to other users... anything. And it's addictive!

Although I don't think it's really her, there are always lots of fakes everywhere and I guess she would have made it private...

I don't think anyone makes their twitters private. Lots of celebrities have them.

Well, I have my twitter private because people were annoying me and I'm only a humble Spanish vlogger

One thing is having it to kind of advertise and promote yourself, like Britney Spears' twitter, and other thing is having it like Alexa, telling more "personal" stuff. And that second example is understandable to be private.

You'd want alot of time on your hands if you could keep track of all thats happening,esp in Alexas case.

If they really didn't want lots of people seeing their updates, they wouldn't have one. Cos it's kind of the idea. Most celebrities just don't "follow" everyone in return.

Mhm... I disagree. I don't think Twitter is about people "seeing your updates", but keeping in touch with friends and people you know. Well, or spamming Tbh, I think that I talk more with most of my friends via Twitter than via GTalk.

Me too. But the kind of original idea is for it to be like a constantly updated blog. And a private blog is kind of pointless really.
